100 Reasons why a son needs a Dad

One post I read yesterday made me emotional because I find it rare for people to express how they feel when they've found out they're soon to be father. It touches my sleeping emotions from hair to toes down to my bone marrows. Akoni I salute you, I commend you and I admire you!

I bought this a long time ago. Aside from the quotations, there're pictures which illustrates the quotations on the best way possible. This is my simple tribute to fathers who had showed great love to their children.

I'll post 5 out of 100 reasons why A son needs a Dad:

1. To tell him he is proud of him
2. to show him unconditional love
3. so that he will have at least one hero he can depend on
4. to make the family whole
5. because without him he will have less in his life than he deserves. (Gregory E. Lang)

Good luck Akoni! You'll be a great father, that's for sure with all the words from you that I read yesterday. Just make sure you'll be there for him/her when he/she needs you the most. One thing more, every child needs their father and mother's affectionate touch. That helps them develop fully. More than financial support, every child needs his/her father's love.

and  Happy Birthday Emmanuel Mateo!!! Where's the party? hahaha!

  3. I am speechless. wait, give me a minute.

Okay, dito na me. first of all thank you so much sey. I will always be pround of him/her, love him/her unconditinally, be her/his hero to depend on, and make my family full of love at faith to GOD.

I am praying sana tulongan ako ng may kapal na maging mabuting Ama, asawa, anak at kaibigan.

    I think I am ready...

  10. Akoni Okay, run! don't be pressured. Wag ka ring kabahan, I mean lahat ng tao kapag dumaan jan ganyan ang feeling pero you'll see, you can do it. Okay lang sumablay minsan, especially kung first baby, syempre trial and error. magbasa ka pa, kasi you'll learn a lot from them. Everything I knew I almost got in reading good articles especially yung confessions of people who have been in the same situations.
I'm glad nakatulong ang post ko. Hindi mahalaga kung anong bagay ang mabibigya mo sa kanya, I mean syempre material things are needed but remember what your child needs is a loving father who is ready to be there when he/she needs someone to love him/her.
Saludo ako sayo, for being so proud of yoru child and most especially for being there as a father and for the love and giving him a complete family. Not everyone were given the chance and I must say he/she is very lucky. Indeed, very very lucky. and soon he'll be proud of you too. that 's for sure.
Glad you are ready. I'll pray for you.

Musingan hahaha! yes, of course someday you'll be a dad too. Teach him well and lead the way (kanta?) baka naman puro Houdini ituro mo ah? hehe. Korek, hanap ka muna lovelife. Yun muna problemahin mo sa ngayon.

Mommy-razz you're welcome Mommy. Grabe mommy saludo ako sa Anak mo, at napaiyak niya ako ng sobra sa post niyang yun. Ayaw tumigil ng tears. magiging mabuti siyang ama sigurado.

Iya-khin Yes, every child deserves a complete family and I feel so sorry for those who were not blessed to have the opportunity.
Your Dad is commendable too. He endure the pain of homesick and being alone in a foreign land for his family.

Ratz yes, and according to studies, a child recognizes his parents by the mere touch of them, it;s really amazing, isn't it?

  15. "More than financial support, every child needs his/her father's love.">>>I very much agree. I grew up in a humble family. We didn't have much. We were not financially secured. But my siblings and I grew up feeling secured because of our father's (and mother's love). We didn't feel the scarcity of material things because my parents made us realize that we can be happy even without them.

Being a father is very rewarding but at times it can be challenging. I wish Akoni good luck.

Ano nga pala ang question mo, iha? Just shoot me an email ;)
