Drunk

After getting headache differentiating the words "drank" and "drunk" ( I seriously need to go back to school and study subject and verb agreement again) I was intoxicated with a naughty idea. After contemplating on the matter and rigorous analysis on situations I witnessed, I am sure that a person drunk with power is far more dangerous than a person drunk with alcoholic beverages.

How far does powerful person willing to go to hold on to their power? There are people out there who were bestowed with the power to rule but never take it into heart but rather let it dominate their mind. Boasting like the world would never end and that universe conspire for their benefit alone.

Who said that only alcoholic beverages have the capacity to intoxicate people's mind?
You better think twice

  2. power is indeed more dangerous...lalo na kung maling tao pa ang meron or naghahangad nito....

  3. The good thing about being drunk is that we forget about our inhibitions.

Getting wasted because of alcohol, you wake up the next morning with a dreadful hangover, pero bumabalik ka sa matinong pagiisip mo. :p

Now being drunk with power, there's nothing good about it. People who are drunk with power should be behind bars.. problema nga lang, they also have the power to get out of it. pfft!

  4. oh gawd. after seeing the picture of bottles of vodka cruiser. i feel like drinking some haha anyway..i can only agree sis. being intoxicated with power is really dangerous cause unlike being drunk with alcoholic beverages, you cannot tell when will the "intoxication" last. or can you really do something to removed it from your system?

  5. Yes, power intoxicated people are more dangerous. They tend to be selfish and inconsiderate about others, willing to do everything (even stepping on others), just to get what they want.

On a lighter note, I somehow like the feeling of being drunk. I feel lighter, less careful, and more happy. Though it gives me severe headache in the morning, at least I've lost myself in happiness the night before. Hahaha.

  6. yeah it's so true. when you are intoxicated with great power, you believed that you are the mightiest person on earth. your ego boost and surpasses your self. that's what our country is facing right now. a problem that only great people could do.

  9. Hayz, I don't know what it is with power - some people easily gets drunk with it! And when this happens grabe na sa power trip, grrr. May galit ba? Parang may kilalang ganito? Haha
Buti na lang sa pagiging lasing with alcohol, after the hangover you'll go back to your old self....

  10. It only takes a night to shake off the effects of alcohol. But somehow who is drunk with power is too delusional to even know there's something wrong with that.

I abhor people like that. They stomp on other people just so they can feel mightier. And the problem with this country? Most of our politicians are drunk with power. What's even worse is that pati mga tao sa government sectors ganun din. Minsan maski simpleng teacher may ganyang problema..

They forget na being a leader is being everybody's servant.

  14. I've only been drunk a few times, and those times were the most unpleasant ones I've ever had. I guess that's why I tend to avoid alcohol no matter what happens.

  19. getting drunk of something means passing the moderated and tolerable level - see what our the wise men say about anything that's too much? Lahat daw ng sobra ang masama :)

start getting drunk with alcohol - an alcoholic may be born and destroy himself or then his home

start getting drunk with power - a dictator may be born and destroy a nation and then himself.

  20. I thought you got drunk and did stupid things..
Well I totally agree that people drunk with power are worst than people drunk with alcohol. People drunk with alcohol can still allow their conscience to control them but people drunk with power can easily ignore their conscience and follow their evil thoughts...

  22. Hay tama ka sis. Tapos, pag drunk na sila. Wala na silang paki kung nakakasakit na sila, or below the belt na yung mga banat nila. Same na same nga. Drunk with alcohol and power.

Following you thru GFC nga pala..
