7 Facts: Getting to know each other

Fate is really working its way because a sweet friend, ChinaDoll (thanks!) gave me this 7 Facts award and stylish blogger award. In lieu to that, I have to share Seven Unknown Facts about me. And in accepting this award, I have to:

1. Thank the person who gave you the award and link back to their blog.
2. Post seven random facts about yourself.
3. Pass on the award along to 15 other worthy bloggers.

Seven Facts about me that you should know:

1. I am allergic to chicken but fried and roast  are to die for. The agreement is I should only eat chicken, once a week so the allergies won't come out or else I'll be scratching from head to toe.

2. I don't eat beans. Any kind of beans. Don't ask me why, I don't know either.

3. I collect postage stamps and paper money/currencies from different countries.

4. I am using two towels when taking a bath and that is a must. I don't know maybe because I have low tolerance with cold weather.

5. I'm a runner (before). I used to run for my school until high school and a long jump player too but eventually I stopped.

6. I dip French Fries on gravy and mayonnaise instead of ketchup especially at McDonalds. So yummy!

7. I swore to exercise what is considered to be the noblest profession on earth. Yes, you got it right, I am a teacher (handling business subjects and economics) by profession but decided to take another route for a change. You see there are great expectations and no room for mistakes. I need a room to breathe. Hello world, were humans too.

Instead of 15, I choose 7. Too lazy uhhh, nope! I want to know more about my new blogger friends:

1. Tina - (Florida) Girl with a New Life
2. Mayen - Clicks and Cuts
3. Mommy Raz - Welcome to my World
4. Haze - How Far is Heaven
5. Nash - My Blissful Journey
6. Dadedidodhong - Dadedidodhong
7. Al - Pasumangil

Looking Back

Guys I am for a fact still alive but on a vacation. I had a writers block this past few days. I have so many posts on my drafts waiting to be posted. Though I am not writing anything, I am still reading your post using Google Reader, and forgive me for not leaving a comment.

I remember the old days when I started blogging for personal reason. I wanted to find a niche and a place where I could pour out my emotions and share everything so that my heart would be lighter. I joined blogger last February 2009 but I wrote an article about Lifes Uncertainty on the 8th of May 2009. Those times when the only reader of my blog is ME and the only person who leaves a comment is ME too. There were times I leave a comment on my posts and then myself will answer back to the comment (insanity). Each posts were written with a quote I googled which jive with the topic, but the truth is I included the quotations to give myself a boost and a go for the gold spirit enlightenment  whenever I feel down. See, when you feel down, the only bestfriend you have is yourself, so cheer-up! At least you have yourself.

Then came the day I took interest with photography and posted my first photos of The Tree and the The Tree Under the Tree. These were memorable because that was the day I had my second follower. She is TB of Year 31. I was really happy and still happy because she's still reading my posts. I bragged about it in the office telling them that a beautiful American girl is reading my posts. LOL!!! Thanks TB.

Whoa!!!, blogging took me to the highest level. I couldn't imagine I would meet  wonderful friends on the blogosphere, but I did and looking back to the older posts made me feel so blessed and go back to my blogging senses again. Thank you guys for the support.

And while I was absent my wonderful friends MitchJanjan and Rachel gave me the Sweet Blog Award.
thanks to Mitch, Janjan and Rachel
and because I am so happy with all my readers who are so kind to me, I am passing this award to all of them. Thank you so much guys.

I wanted to do this as well. Another wonderful friend, NYC Island Gal was nominated for BlogLuxe 2010 Award. Please drop by and vote for her. She is under the "Best Eye Candy" Category. Simply click on the picture below and you will be directed to the voting page:

CONFESSION: I read NYC Island Gal post. It made me ponder for a moment and when motherhood knocks, I will name my first baby "Peavey".

Question? Where did you get the name of your first baby or what would be the name of your first child? What do you think about the name "Peavey"?

A Blog of Substance

I never opened the blog this weekend because I visited my family for a vacation. And how great it is to open it now while on vacation. I got a new award....yay!!! It's from NYC Island Gal. This award really started the week right. It's such a great happiness for me to know that my readers appreciate the simple things I am writing and knowing that my blog is with substance made me wanna jump high.

Thank you "Island Gal" for the "A blog With Substance" award. The rule for accepting this blog is to write your blog philosophy. "Far and away, the best prize which life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work which is worth doing". A simple quote yet served as the way to begin doing things, though time consuming yet still worth doing, like OUR BLOGS.

I'm passing this award to the following wonderful girls below who speak their heart out when writing a post.

P.S. While I'm staying with my family, I encouraged my 15 year old niece to start a blog. You can find her HERE. Please bear with her because she's still trying to figure out how to do everything. I hope you could visit her blog and give her some encouragements through comments. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I Got a Blog Award

I had a long weekend, as you all know guys I am not blogging when it's rest day because I am trying to stay away from computers and I apologize I wasn't able to visit your blogs. 3 days of vacation really tempted me to jump on a computer, read your posts and leave my comment as well as to read the comments on my post too. It was a success, I was able to control myself and give myself enough rest (2 thumbs up for me).

As of today, I am following almost 50 blogs from people around the globe, from all walks of life with different experiences (cooking, mom, photos, and other stuffs) and I am visiting each and every one everyday and read all post. Believe me, when you followed a blog you like,  you will end up loving it and looking for new updates everyday because you are learning something from it and that's how people grow.

When I logged in today, I hurriedly read the comments on my blog additions post. I read each comment one by one and left a comment too, to thank my friends who left their comments about the new look and additions on my blog. I also got an award from NYC Island Gal. I was like a child who won tons of candies from a parlor game.
My First Blog Award
CONFESSION: You know what really makes me feel happy? It's the excitement of logging in and read the comments of your friends who are reading your posts, that somehow you also shared something worthy of reading and that they learned something and new idea from it. THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS (teary eyed).
